The PS3 itself is great, but unlike the PS3 80GB+MGS4 bundle and other bundles, this one is not backward compatible with PS2, and Sony hasn't mentioned it until after I buy it. Also, this version has only 2 USB ports and no card reader. I think this is the same as the 40GB version but with a larger HD and that Sony is not making a PS3 backward compatible to PS2 anymore.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 80GB.
