PlayStation 3 80GB Order Now

I just ordered the $399 80GB Playstation 3 from Amazon. The product description indicates the unit will play Playstation 2 and Playstation games, but some review comments posted by other buyers indicate the unit is not backwards compatible with older games. Email and telephone inquiry to Amazon has not settled this question. I guess I'll have to wait until I receive the unit and give it a try. Get more detail about PlayStation 3 80GB.
