PlayStation 3 80GB Immediately

My PS3 System Game stopped reading ps3 games. You can play games loaded on the hard drive but won't play any disc (Blu-ray Disc DVD, CD). all I see is the loading circle at the corner of the screen and the disc icon does not appear on the XMB.
This only happened 3 months after the warranty expired, and the Sony people want to charge me $150 plus state taxes, and after that they will only offer a 90 day limited service warranty.
Now Sony is very aware of this problem, it's really common there's even a video on YouTube that shows you how to change the BD lens.
So don't go thru all this trouble.
just buy the Xbox 360 and a blu ray player (NOT SONY)
