We purchased the PS3 in January 09. Sent it back in for repair at the end of April as previously played media would not load (media loaded on other PS3's fine. Original PS3 returned with case scratched in several locations and the same loading issues. Resent back to SONY in May. Just received it back tonight 6/8/09, the same problem exists. Called SONY, waited 15 minutes to speak with someone who stated we need to send it in for repair. Thought that's what we have done twice now! Will not replace with a new unit, will send a factory rebuilt unit but cannot guarantee the case will be like new as this is the "most expensive part of the unit". So far the playstation 3 has been at Sony or in transit for an overall total of one month. When the system is functioning, the graphics are wonderful, system is quiet and overall a great value.
