Pros:
Easy setup.
Blu Ray player.
Graphics / Display is at some god level.
MGS4 , Resistance 1 and 2 , Drake.
PSP and PS3 compatibility.
Cons:
Can't think of anything other than the slightly higher power consumption.
Here is the take on the gaming consoles.
Wii - Good for ladies and non-gamers.
Xbox - Go to a friends place to play Gears of War. (Other than Gears of War. It is a piece of cheap h/w not worth the money)
PS3 - Not only does it have the best hardware in class. Some of the best games ever made on this planet. MGS4 and Drake are available only for the PS3. Add to that the Blu Ray player.
For any serious gamer MGS should be a reason to own the PS3.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 80GB.
