The Playstation 3 video game console may seem expensive, but you more than get your money's worth. I has great games, it's a blu ray player, and it works great as a media center.

First and foremost it's about the games. Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Grand Theft Auto IV, FallOut 3, Encharted, and Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction are just some of the fantastic games available.

The second best reason to buy the system is blu ray. Granted I have only seen a few blu ray disk movies, but what I have seen is fantastic. The prices for blu-ray movies are a bit highers than DVDs, but you get you money's worth if you have an HD TV.

In addition to being a great gaming machine and blu ray player it's also fantastic as a media center for movies, music, and pictures with many options for editing and organization.
