PlayStation 3 80GB This instant

It's not difficult to understand why Sony decided not to make this year's PS3 not backward compatible with PS2 games. Greed. The traditional marketing strategy was to give away the razor, and charge for the blades. Sony wants to charge for the razor and also charge for the games. I was confused when I bought this unit for my autistic son. He wanted a system that would play his PS2 games, and from what I'd read I assumed that the new 80GB model was backward compatible. Not so. Now my son is obsessed with getting the older model, which is backward compatible. So now I need to sell his new one and buy an older one. I paid $400 for the new one, and figure I'll spend another net of at least $100 in the exchage. It's really a very bad decision on Sony's part.

I will never buy a Sony product again. Get more detail about PlayStation 3 80GB.
